The OCR Launches New Online Executive Roundtable Platform

NEW YORK, JULY 15, 2020 – The OCR Network today announced the launch of a new online platform for hosting executive roundtables.   The OCR, a research think tank and consultancy with offices in New York and Washington, D.C., offers services focused on optimizing the corporate affairs function of leading global companies.

In addition to summits and research, The OCR now offers consulting, custom analytics and access to a research knowledge base.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has forced us all to reorganize in almost every way—as companies, employees, consumers, family and community members. The OCR Auditorium is our response to enable senior-level executives to continue their quest to get time-sensitive insights from their peers while working within the constraints of this global pandemic,”  said Craig Carroll, the director of The OCR.

The OCR Auditorium is a virtual platform organized around the ideal live, in-person event. All of the decisions you have to make with an in-person event are thought through with the use of the Auditorium. This organizing factor makes it easier for conference organizers, conveners,  and event planner to be crystal clear on what they need to do to prepare, what types of comes they can move towards, and the process to get them there.

“ The OCR Auditorium is our response to enable senior-level executives to continue their quest for time-sensitive insights with their peers while working within the constraints of this global pandemic,”
- Carroll said.

"The OCR Auditorium provides us a way to preserve the exclusivity, intimacy, closed-door environment of our events," Walker said. "It gives participants maximum control over their use of time, how they engage, and their personal takeaways."

The OCR Auditorium enables presentations from a stage and break-out rooms and table discussions. The platform enables informal networking before, during, and after online events. Users have easy-to-use, free-flow access to other guests. It is easy to find and engage the people they want to meet—no matter the size.

The OCR Auditorium can be used for conferences, fairs and trade shows, focus groups and other forms of market research, forums, in-person events and podcasts streamed for an online audience, speed networking events, online training, webinars and workshops.

“The OCR Auditorium provides us a way to preserve the exclusivity, intimacy, closed-door environment of our events,” Walker said. “It gives participants maximum control over their use of time, how they engage, their personal takeaways.”

The OCR offers forums in which senior-level executives can gather with peers to address critical issues and challenges related to enterprise-level social-political risk, sustainability, corporate communications, and performance.

As a result of The OCR’s research, publications, and executive education programs, corporate network members have access to latest research learnings on issues that influence corporate reputation, communications, and organizational development and effectiveness.

Founded at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 by Dr. Carroll, the Observatory on Corporate Reputation (OCR) is a research think tank devoted to improving and enhancing the corporate affairs and corporate communications function of the Fortune 500 and Global Forbes 2000.
