Daniel Diermeier, Ph.D. is the David Lee Shillinglaw Distinguished Service Professor, Harris School of Public Policy, the College, and Department of Political Science, at the University of Chicago, where he served as Provost. Diermeier was announced as the ninth Chancellor of Vanderbilt University, beginning July 1, 2020.
