Center for Digital Innovation and Transformation
Center for Innovation and Digital Transformation, CDIT (former Center for Information and Communications Research, CIC) was started in 1997 to pursue business research on the supply and use of new information and communication technologies (ICT). During the first ten years research was geared toward telecommunications with a particular focus on mobile telephony studies, and also the media industries, including both demand and supply side studies. In a set of demand side oriented projects, the implementation and use by individuals and organizations of new mobile technologies have been in focus. The second group of more supply side oriented research projects have investigated viable new options for new technological and economical regimes for mobile communication. In addition, media industries have been in focus of research, including television and gaming.
