Convergent Behavioral Science Initiative

The Convergent Behavioral Science Initiative brings together scholars to do and apply behavioral research in response to social challenges. CBSI was created in 2018 by professors Morela Hernandez (Darden School of Business) and Leidy Klotz with the goal of bringing together the finest of behavioral science and engineering (School of Engineering and Applied Sciences). CBSI has worked with over 100 faculty and student researchers from eight different institutions at the University of Virginia and beyond so far. CBSI supports all stages of the research process, from concept formation to project planning to manuscript refining and other forms of dissemination, in addition to providing a subject pool and professional support for empirical studies.
