The Fishman-Davidson Center for Service and Operations
The Fishman-Davidson Center for Service and Operations Management aims to provide a robust research and teaching foundation for organizations in both the service and manufacturing sectors that deal with operations difficulties. They are especially interested in encouraging relationships between industry and academia that lead to the discovery of new research ideas. They achieve this goal through a variety of activities, including direct grants to faculty, industry partnerships that bring a group of companies together around a common issue, impact conferences that allow faculty and practicing managers to exchange information, and funded research projects with individuals.
